Leisure and learning

Can't find what you're looking for?

If you’re over 50, you may have more time for leisure, or you may just want a new interest or activity in your spare time.

There are lots of things you can do, including getting involved in or going to see the arts, dance, music or sports; enjoying days out to museums and galleries or parks and green spaces; researching your family or local history; learning a new skill; joining a social group; or traveling.

From here you can find information about arts, sports, trips, holidays, community centres, classes and courses.

Did you know about your local Neighbourhood Network organisation? They offer different support and activities in later life.

If you're looking for a particular service you could also try the LeedsDirectory.

Finding information

From this page you can find everything on Infostore listed alphabetically in the yellow tabs just above this text.

Are you looking for an organisation, leaflets or reports, news or events?

You can use these tabs to narrow down the list according to what you are looking for, just click on the one you are interested in.
If a tab is grey it means there is nothing listed for that type of information.

Chosing one of the topics (Libraries, for example) on the left hand side of the page will give you a shorter list of results.

Alternatively, you can use the search box or the A-Z index in the purple bar above.

Just looking for organisations or events in your area?

‘Choose a neighbourhood' - in the purple box on the right hand side of this page - allows you to only see organisations and events in your area. If you want to go back to seeing everything click on ‘show all Leeds’ at the bottom of the same box.

If you get lost

You can get back to the home page by clicking the Infostore logo.
